About Us
We started out as a buyer of cut and stripped hookup wire. With an expanding business
we had plenty of things to do and so left the production of hookup wire to experts.
The only problem was that the experts weren't as good as we wanted them to be. We were
pretty demanding of fast quote and production times and were consistently disappointed.
We looked at a number of vendors and tried a few, but none seemed to really cut it for
us.
So, we bought some equipment and learned to do it ourselves. Don't complain - just fix
it. It took a little while to get a handle on the right equipment, to train the people
that get it done but after a while it seemed to work. It actually seemed to work pretty
well compared to what we had gone through before.
After a while of doing wire for our internal needs we figured we could do a pretty good
job for other folks too. So, we setup some more systems and added some partners and came
up with Dycon Wire. We decided this business model would be able to help folks that need
processed wire fast and efficiently get it without a lot of hassle. Hopefully that will
be your experience here.
Just to be clear though, we can't do everything (at least not yet). We want to be a low
cost, high speed provider of processed wire. So, we hope you can use the online quoting
system to get your quotes. This way all the data gets entered without missing stuff and
you don't have to wait four to eight to twenty four hours to know what it will cost.
Plus, once you place the order it goes straight into our computers and right into the
queue in the production area. We work to keep a little extra capacity around so that once
in the queue it doesn't stay long and within five days if not less it's all ready and on
the way to you.
Of course, not everything fits into the computer quoting easily but we can still quote
other wire types and services like adding terminals, building wire harnesses and adding
stripes to the wire.
